The Queen's spirit is legendary. It lives inside everyone who has ever worn its colours. That soul lives at the heart of the University - the Queen's Centre.

A multi-purpose, modern social, academic and athletic complex, Queen's Centre is built on the principle that not all lessons are learned in the classroom. That through recreation, we re-create ourselves. And that community and the sharing of ideas are the cornerstones of the broader learning environment - a hall-mark of the Queen's experience.

Here, opinions will be exchanged, conventions challenged and discoveries made. Student clubs will meet, support be offered, and games played. Careers will be inspired, and lifelong friendships begin.

Queen's University's vision is to be the quality leader in Canadian higher learning, developing exceptional students and scholars for citizenship and leadership in a global society.

Put very simply, Queen's wants to continue to set the standard for excellence in post-secondary education.

A part of this vision involves the creation of a vibrant heart in the centre of campus called The Queen's Centre.

The Queen's Centre will support the academic core of the University, housing athletic, recreation, academic and student life facilities.
